Project Overview

Parks Tacoma is replacing the play equipment in North Slope Historic Park in 2025 and looking for your input to design the new playground. We are gathering community input which will inform the new playground equipment. Stay up to date and cast your vote by participating in our interactive website.

Option 3 was the winner of the community survey! Permitting requirements have delayed the project schedule slightly, but we are still hopeful for a summer re-opening of the park and new playground.

How to Participate:

Step 1: Take the survey between May 27 & June 15 to help inform the design of North Slope Historic Park.

Step 2: Vote on final designs in a second survey, August 25-September 15.
