Project Overview

Help us design a new playground for Oakland-Madrona Park! We are current gathering community input on what the replacement play equipment will look like. The swings will remain where they are currently located. This update focuses on developing a new play structure for 5-12 year-olds, with complementary play elements for 2-5 year-olds.

Join us for a pop-up event in November to talk with our staff about which design options you and your family like best and cast your vote for your favorite designs.

Our goal is to gather your input and complete installation in early 2025. We've been advised that parts are no longer available for repairs to this equipment, so we need your input to help get the order placed for the new play equipment as quickly as possible!

Join us for a morning of fun as you check out three design concepts for the new playground at Oakland-Madrona Park.

Each of the designs were inspired by input that park users and neighbors provided in August.
